Family in Washington Square area of Brookline looking for a student or teacher to help with housework (laundry and chores), meal preparation, and homework help for our children for ten to fifteen hours per week (M-F, 3 hours per day) with flexibility in setting a regular schedule. Additional hours available if you have a car and are able to drive our two children (ages 14 and 16) to activities.
Our house is located in Washington Sq, Brookline, a 20 minute walk from both BU (BU Bridge and Comm Ave) and from Boston College. It is also a 3 minute walk from the green line T stop at Washington Sq, and a 6 minute walk from the Comm Ave T stop at Washington St. Street parking right next to the house always available for up to two hours, and if you need to stay longer, we do have room on our driveway.
Pay is $30 to $45 per hour, or we can work out a weekly schedule and fee structure in which case we would pay for sick time and times we are away during the school year.
Ideal candidate is great with kids, upbeat and high energy, a safe driver, and is looking for a position to last the entire academic year and potentially next year.
